Since joining Audio Media International (now Audio Media International) as a staff writer in 2011, Daniel has gone on to serve in a variety of senior roles across the professional audio and music industries. After being appointed as editor of API in 2012, he later took over as editor of leading musical instrument title MI Pro in 2013, before taking on the role of news editor at Music Week in 2016. He returned to the world of pro audio earlier this year, replacing the departing David Robinson after some 17 years in the role. Daniel has also played in bands for the past 16 years, picking up plenty of studio and live experience along the way.

Phil Ward is a previous editor of Pro Sound News Europe, and now freelances as a contributor to this and other trade titles including Installation, Lighting & Sound International, Pro Audio Asia and AV Magazine. More recently his talents have been required on video and in live presentations and discussion panels at industry events across Europe as host and raconteur with over 25 years of experience in every sector of pro audio.

Barney Jameson is the director of The Inside Story, an independent agency delivering marketing, public relations strategy, and business development support for a number of leading brands within professional audio, AV, broadcast and MI. A well-known industry commentator and journalist, Jameson has also served as editor and contributor for many of the industry’s best known publications. Most recently he was editorial director of Blank Canvas Publishing, and editor of Pro Audio Asia. Previously he worked on titles including Pro Audio Middle East, Pro Sound News Europe, MI Pro, Live, Audience, and was the founder, editor and publisher of Playmusic.
